Pubis Anatomy

The largest portion of the pubis is called the pubic body which is located at the highest point of the pubis. Skeletal system in skeleton.

The pubis is the most anterior portion of the hip bone.

And the lower posterior part is the ischium. In most cases its more pronounced in women than in men though its appearance can vary widely usually in relation to the overall proportion of a persons body fat. The pubic elements however remain wholly cartilaginous.
